Free Internal Training FOR UI Developer
The Web UI Developer collaborates with the Web Marketing Team to translate designs and technical concepts into working prototypes and production ready code. You should love semantic markup, appreciate Design and UX, and be comfortable writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript code from scratch. We are a small dynamic team and your responsibilities will range from simple content updates to strategic definition of progressive coding standards. Desktop targeted applications/browsers are primary but mobile/tablet implementations are on the horizon. This is a great opportunity for a junior developer or recent graduate.
Key job responsibilities:
• Work as the principle front-end web developer understanding and refining user interface requirements, designing and writing code, and ensuring cross browser/device compatibility.
• Stay abreast of front-end web development technologies and collaboratively brainstorm new ideas and implementations consistent with directed marketing strategies.
• Lead development efforts on large-scale, global, web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented.
• Assist content publishers in updating specific content sections of sites as needed.
B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent work experience. Computer Science degree is a plus.
• Ability to address and quickly fix browser compatibility issues.
• Ability to learn, leverage and contribute to an in-house JavaScript library.
• Knowledge and eagerness to implement current web design and development trends including HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with Content Management Systems and/or Version Control Software a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities.
• Passion for creating a great user experience and interaction.
